Santosh Lolayekar

Santosh Lolayekar is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in data protection and governance. Currently serving as Vice President and Veritas Fellow at Veritas Technologies LLC since May 2018, Santosh leads the Architecture for Data Protection and Governance Products. Prior roles include Head of Engineering for Mozy Backup SaaS and S3-based Cloud File System at Dell EMC, where responsibilities encompassed budget management, security, and compliance for cloud-based backup solutions. As CTO for the Backup Software Group at EMC, Santosh guided strategy and architecture to drive substantial revenue while overseeing global engineering teams. Santosh's earlier career includes significant positions at NetApp, Xiotech Corporation, Maranti Networks, Cisco Systems, and Shomiti Systems, contributing to advancements in data management and virtualization strategies. Santosh holds an MS in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a BS in Electronics and Communications from Manipal Institute of Technology.
