Douglas Nelson

Douglas Nelson is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the finance sector. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Veritex Community Bank since March 2022, Douglas previously held the position of Vice President at Frost Bank from August 2012 to February 2022, focusing on the Insurance Finance Division. Before Frost Bank, Douglas worked as Assistant Vice President in the same division and as Associate Relationship Manager at BBVA Compass. Earlier career experiences include serving as Preferred Relationship Manager at JPMorgan Chase and as a Banker from July 2007 to July 2010. Douglas holds a degree in Finance from the University of Arkansas and is an alumnus of Dallas Jesuit.
