Morgan Sherrill

Morgan Sherrill, MBA has a diverse work experience in risk management and executive support roles. Morgan started their career as a Client Information Specialist at Texas Press Clipping Bureau in 2012. Morgan then worked as an Executive Assistant at PlainsCapital Bank from 2013 to 2017. Following this, Morgan transitioned to Weaver as a Risk Advisory Associate from 2017 to 2019. Morgan then joined Hilltop Holdings, where they served as a Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst and later as Manager of Risk Advisory from 2019 to 2022. Most recently, Morgan Sherrill assumed the role of Senior Vice President, Director of Enterprise Risk Management at Veritex Community Bank in 2022.

Morgan Sherrill obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Texas Tech University in 2012. Subsequently, from 2014 to 2016, Morgan earned a Master's Degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas.
