Sean Reinig

Sean Reinig, CPA, currently serves as Treasurer at Veritex Community Bank since May 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing corporate treasury functions, bank liquidity, balance sheet management, interest rate risk, investment portfolio management, and corporate hedging strategy. Previously, Sean held the position of Chief Accounting Officer, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory accounting standards. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Manager of SEC Reporting at MoneyGram International, overseeing SEC and statutory financial reporting and implementing new accounting standards, and as Assurance Manager at BDO USA, LLP, managing audits in the financial services sector. Early in career, Sean interned at PwC. Sean graduated with a Master’s degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University in 2007.
