David Simko

David Simko has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. David is currently employed as a Senior Desktop Support Engineer at Verition Fund Management LLC since June 2022.

Before joining Verition Fund Management LLC, David worked as an IT Contractor at ScotiaBank through Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. from March 2020 to March 2022.

Prior to that, they served as an Assistant Vice President at Cerberus Capital Management from January 2018 to December 2019, where they performed a wide range of onsite problem resolution in desktop support and system administration. David managed on-site and remote installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of over 400 virtual desktops in a VMware environment.

From May 2012 to December 2017, David worked as a Senior Associate - Information Technology at Cerberus Capital Management, where they gained experience in desktop support and application support of internal and external applications.

Before joining Cerberus Capital Management, David worked at Lord Abbett as a Desktop Support Associate from September 2010 to May 2012. There, they provided daily technical support for trading and non-trading environments and coordinated daily activities with clients and technology teams.

Prior to Lord Abbett, David worked at Westchester Medical Center as an Application Support Specialist from 2008 to June 2010. David provided maintenance and support to end users in Managed Care and Patient billing departments.

David's extensive experience in the IT field also includes their tenure at Bear Stearns & Co. as a Vice President, Information Technology from March 1995 to June 2008. David managed a Desktop Support team and provided real-time desktop support to traders and support groups.

In addition to their corporate experience, David has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Manhattanville College from 2006 to 2008.
