Jeffrey Cox Jr. has extensive experience in the technology industry. Jeffrey began their career in 1997 as an Information Technology and Services Professional at Lockheed Martin Information Technology. During their time there, they successfully assembled, led, and inspired multiple high-level technology teams that provided a wide variety of IT services and support for key projects. In 2004, they founded Rounders Logistics, where they were responsible for its overall development, execution, and strategy. Primarily serving the heavy equipment industry, Rounders operated as an asset based carrier, a 3PL, and an international freight forwarder. In 2013, they founded VeriTread, an online freight exchange. Jeffrey was responsible for its overall development, execution, and strategy, and they conceptualized, secured funding for, developed, and launched VeriTread from the ground up.

Jeffrey Cox Jr. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Central Florida between 1993 and 1996. Jeffrey then went on to receive a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Management Information Systems, General from the same university between 1998 and 2000. In 2009, they received a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification from Microsoft.
