Luca Gherardi

Luca Gherardi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in software engineering and robotics. Currently serving as the Head of Development and Head of Software Engineering at Verity since November 2014, Luca leads a team of 20, overseeing projects that range from embedded drivers to web applications while designing system software architecture and communication protocols. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zurich, where Luca focused on software product lines for robotics, and significant contributions as a researcher and professor at the University of Bergamo. Luca also has a diverse background in software development and engineering from various organizations, including BRICS and K.U.Leuven. Educational credentials include a postdoctoral degree in software engineering and robotics from ETH Zurich, a PhD in robotics and software engineering, and both bachelor's and master’s degrees in computer software engineering from Università degli Studi di Bergamo.
