Simon Falsig

Simon Falsig has extensive experience in software engineering, with a focus on industrial automation and drone technology. Simon has held roles such as Head of Engineering Operations and Software Infrastructure Team Lead at Verity, where they developed communication protocols for industrial drone systems. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Verity and as an Embedded Developer at Newtec A/S. Simon also has experience as a PhD student and research assistant at the University of Southern Denmark, as well as internships at Profactor and Fisher & Paykel. Simon'sfreelance programming experience includes work for companies such as Pewitronic and Dansk Styringsteknik.

Simon Falsig began their education at Petersmindeskolen, Vejle from 1990 to 1998. Simon then went on to attend Rosborg from 1998 to 2001 before pursuing a B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark from 2002 to 2006. Simon continued their education at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, earning an M.Sc.(Eng) in Embedded Systems from 2006 to 2008, followed by a Phd in the same field from 2008 to 2011.
