Oliver Maier

Oliver Maier is the current Chief Commercial Officer Banking & Insurance at Verivox. Prior to this, they held various positions at different companies including Booz Allen Hamilton, EnBW (Yello Strom), Verivox Finanzvergleich GmbH, NuCom Group - ProSiebenSat.1 Commerce GmbH, PlanetHome Group, member of UniCredit Group, and Arthur Andersen.

Oliver Maier began their professional journey as a Summer Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton in June 2002. In October 2001, they became a Consultant at Institut für Europäische Wirtschaftsstudien before taking on the role of Product Manager at BlueSky International Marketing Inc. from June 2000 to December 2000. Oliver's next role was as an Audit Assistant at Arthur Andersen from February 2002 to May 2002.

In August 2006, Maier became the Head of Strategy & Business Development at PlanetHome Group, member of UniCredit Group. Oliver then took on the role of Head of Marketing and PR from January 2009 to January 2010 before becoming the Head of MultiChannel Management from April 2011 to June 2016. Most recently, they were the Investment Director | Head of Online Comparison Assets at NuCom Group - ProSiebenSat.1 Commerce GmbH from August 2016 to December 2017.

Oliver Maier went to the Walahfrid Strabo Gymnasium before studying international business at the ESB Reutlingen and NEOMA Business School. Oliver then did their MBA at the London Business School.

They work with Timo Nolte - CTO, Ergin Iyilikci - SVP Corporate Communications, and Sebastian Prégardien - Chief Commercial Officer, Energy & Telco. Their manager is Daniel Puschmann, CEO.
