Bindu Balan

Bindu Balan has over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors, currently serving as Director of Product Engineering - Innovation at Verizon since July 2008. Bindu has held multiple leadership roles at Verizon, including Director of Product Engineering - Consumer Innovation and Manager of Technology, focusing on mobile applications. Prior to Verizon, Bindu worked as a Principal Member of Technical Staff, where responsibilities included designing and developing mobile services. Bindu's earlier experience includes roles as a Sr. Technical Consultant at Alcatel-Lucent, Sr. Platform Solutions Engineer at Intel Corporation, and Software Engineer at Lucent Technologies/Xenon Infotek. Bindu holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Strayer University.
