Charon Phillips

Charon Phillips is the Associate General Counsel at Verizon, where they currently serve as a senior lawyer in the Verizon Privacy Office, specializing in privacy, GDPR, compliance, product development, and regulation. Prior to this role, Charon held positions such as Director of Regulatory Matters at GTE Wireless Incorporated and Director of Policy Matters at GTE Service Corporation. They began their legal career as a Communications Associate at several firms, including Crowell & Moring and Mintz, Levin, Cohn Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo. Charon earned a Juris Doctor from Georgetown Law and a B.A. in Psychology and Journalism from Northwestern University.
