David M. Caruth

David M. Caruth, PhD, is a marketing professional with extensive experience in both corporate and consulting environments. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Advisors at WeSalute since June 2024, David has been with Verizon since February 2006, holding various roles including Senior Manager of Base Marketing Strategy & Planning and Vice Chairman of Verizon VALOR, a military Employee Resource Group. Additionally, David founded Caruth Consulting in July 2015, specializing in marketing consulting for small businesses with a focus on social media. David's military experience includes service in the US Army as an 11 Bravo from June 2004 to June 2006. Educational credentials include a PhD in Business Administration and Management with a specialization in Cognitive Psychology from Capella University, an MBA from Rosemont College, and a dual degree in Marketing and Management from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
