Navid Haghighi

Navid Haghighi is the current General Counsel for International Operations, Regulatory Affairs & Public Policy at Verizon. Navid has held this position since February 2017. Prior to Verizon, they were the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at XO Communications from January 2004 to February 2017. Before XO Communications, they were the Executive Director - Technology Business Development at America Online (AOL) from January 2000 to December 2004.

Haghighi started their career as an Associate Technology Counsel at MCI from January 1997 to December 2000. Navid then served as the President of the Association of Corporate Counsel - National Capital Region from January 2018 to January 2019. In this role, they served as the President and Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Capital Region chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC NCR).

Haghighi has a history of working in various legal positions within the telecommunications industry. Navid has experience working with technology businesses, developing policy, and providing counsel. Their experience has made him a valuable asset to Verizon.

Navid Haghighi has a MS in Computer Science from the University of Virginia and a JD from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
