Ryan Wilson

Ryan Wilson is an accomplished professional in cybersecurity with extensive experience in managing teams and operations at Verizon since 2006, currently serving as the Head of Cyber Defense Content Creation and Security Automation. Ryan oversees a team of 20 multi-national security professionals and directs content development within Splunk ES, focusing on risk-based and machine learning applications. Previously, Ryan led a dedicated operations center for Verizon Enterprise Solutions, managing a team of 70 cybersecurity professionals and overseeing the largest security-centric deal in Verizon's history. Ryan's earlier roles include oversight of network security operations and second/third tier support for network infrastructure, demonstrating a strong foundation in information assurance with degrees in Information Technology from Capella University and Management Information Systems from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
