Shawn Bone

Shawn Bone is a seasoned professional in public policy and communications, currently serving as Senior Director of Public Policy at Verizon since October 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Counsel and Counsel for Communications and Technology Policy at the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation from July 2012 to October 2021. Additionally, Shawn Bone worked as a Public Policy Consultant at Wiley Rein LLP for seven years and served as an Adjunct Professor at Washington and Lee University School of Law from January 2017 to December 2018. Shawn Bone holds a Juris Doctor degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law (2005) and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Missouri State University (2002). Educational background also includes Branson High School, graduating in 1997.
