James Ren

James Ren is a software engineer and entrepreneur who is currently the co-founder and software architect at Verkada. James has over ten years of experience in the tech industry, having worked at companies such as Google, Chegg Inc., and CourseRank Inc. Prior to their work in tech, James Ren was an associate attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. James holds a degree in computer science from Stanford University.

James Ren's educational career began with a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University. James then went on to earn a M.S. in Computer Science from the same school. Finally, they received a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Harvard Law School.
