Jon Andersen

Jon Andersen is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security engineering and management. Currently serving as Federal CISO at Verkada since October 2021, Jon previously held various leadership roles at Citrix from May 2007 to October 2021, including Senior Manager of the Global Security Organization, where responsibilities included overseeing multiple security teams and enhancing the Security Response team's capabilities. Jon's early career includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Systems Research Programmer at the University of Michigan, contributing to significant software development initiatives. Jon holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, both from the University of Michigan.
