Mike Axelson

Mike Axelson is an accomplished sales professional with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as an Enterprise Account Executive at Verkada since January 2023, Mike previously held the position of Director of Sales at Redline Surgical, overseeing teams in Joint Reconstruction and Spinal Instrumentation sales from November 2016 to January 2023. Prior to that, Mike was a Sales Representative at Stryker, where notable achievements included being the #1 Trauma Sales Representative in the United States and winning the Stryker Grand Champion Award in 2015. Mike's earlier experience includes a role at Zimmer Biomet, where sales performance exceeded growth targets across multiple product segments. Mike began a career in sports as a USPTA Tennis Professional at Coronado Tennis Center, where significant accomplishments included directing a successful Junior Tennis Program and increasing the client base through effective marketing. Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University San Marcos.
