Markus Klehr

Markus Klehr has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Markus started their career in 1994 as a Koordinator Verkehrsnetz at SystemGut Logistik. Markus then worked as a Betriebsleiter at Beck Servicepack GmbH from 1997 to 1999. Markus then joined TransCare AG as a Projectmanager from 1999 to 2001. Markus continued their career at AXIT AG as a Projectmanager from 2001 to 2006. In 2008, they became a Projectmanager at trans regio Deutsche Regionalbahn until 2010. Currently, Markus is the Head of Integrated Management Systems at Verkehrsbetriebe Karlsruhe GmbH, a position they have held since November 2010.

Markus Klehr holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Freizeit- und Tourismuswirtschaft (Leisure and Tourism Management) from RheinAhr Campus Koblenz. Markus pursued this degree from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Diplom-Betriebswirt (Diploma in Business Administration) in Verkehrswirtschaft (Transportation Management) from DHBW Mannheim between 1990 and 1993. Additionally, Markus has obtained several certifications over the years including Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from TQM Training & Consulting in July 2022, Umweltauditor (Environmental Auditor) from DNV in March 2022, Nachhaltigkeits-/CSR Manager (Sustainability/CSR Manager) from TÜV Saarland in July 2019, and Auditor from TÜV Süd in January 2012.
