Mathias Hildebrandt

Mathias Hildebrandt is an experienced tax professional currently serving as the Head of Group Tax at Enpal since September 2023. Mathias also co-hosts the "Tax Quartett" podcast and is a co-publisher of the German tax journal "IWB," which is the official organ of the Young IFA Network in Germany. Additionally, Mathias holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Deutsche Steuerberatergenossenschaft and co-publishes the German tax tech journal "beck.digitax." Previous roles include Head of Group Tax at Bauer Media Group and Senior Vice President Group Tax at ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE. Mathias has extensive expertise in tax matters, having led tax departments at Zalando SE and managed corporate tax, VAT, and transfer pricing at British American Tobacco. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Law from Kiel University and certifications as a tax advisor and international tax consultant.
