Mark Sahlin

Mark Sahlin has extensive experience in the field of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Mark currently works as the Principal Engineer, Model Based Systems Engineering at Vermeer Corporation, where they lead the enterprise MBSD simulation efforts and fosters a culture of virtual validation simulation and analysis in product development. Their role also involves promoting MBSD practices and providing leadership and mentoring to enhance MBSD adoption and usage.

Mark utilized computer simulation and math modeling techniques to ensure optimal performance of the separator and developed software requirements and algorithms for hospital and blood bank applications.

Mark's early career includes roles as a Senior Engineer at Lockheed Martin and participation in the Fellowship Program at Hughes Aircraft Company.
