Eric Cao

Eric Cao, CFA, currently serves as a Senior Corporate Planning Analyst at Vermilion Energy since May 2023. Prior to this role, Eric accumulated over a decade of experience at PAREX RESOURCES, where responsibilities included managing annual financial planning, budgeting, and long-term forecasting as a Senior Financial Analyst. Eric also handled financial models for mergers and acquisitions, prepared presentations for board meetings and investor relations, and conducted peer group analyses. Earlier career roles included positions as a Project Analyst and Financial Analyst at TransAlta, as well as an Accounting Analyst at Imperial Oil. Eric holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from The University of Lethbridge.
