Tamar Epstein

Tamar Epstein currently serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Vermilion Energy and holds a position as a Board Member at Calgary Economic Development, where initiatives aim to enhance Calgary's appeal for business investment and workforce growth. Prior experience includes roles as General Counsel and VP of ESG at Validere, where efforts focused on improving supply chain efficiency and environmental sustainability, and General Counsel Canada & Director of ESG at International Petroleum Corp - IPC Canada Ltd., overseeing legal guidance on various corporate matters. Tamar’s background also features positions at Cenovus Energy, Walsh Wilkins Creighton LLP, and academic roles as an instructor at SAIT Polytechnic and Mount Royal University. Tamar holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta and a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability from the University of Toronto.
