Angela Yeager

Campoceano Program Coordinator at Vermilion Sea Institute

Angela Yeager currently serves as the Director of the Environmental Justice Semester at Laurel School, overseeing an innovative program for high school girls interested in environmental justice and climate issues. Previously, Angela has held roles as a 5th grade teacher at VERMILION SEA INSTITUTE and as CampOceano Program Coordinator, leading citizen science expeditions. Angela's commitment to environmental equity is reflected in previous positions, including Program Director at Footpath Foundation and Education Program Planning Specialist at Lake Erie Nature & Science Center. Angela also contributed to urban education as a Science Instructor and Curriculum Consultant at Saint Martin de Porres High School and has experience with curriculum development from time spent at Great Lakes Science Center. Angela holds a Master's degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Miami and has education licensure from Cleveland State University.
