Matt Emsley

Matt Emsley is the current CFO at Vermont Academy. Prior to that, they were the Director of Finance and Administration at North County Land Trust from November 2020 to June 2022. Before that, they were with AbbVie from January 2005 to December 2020, where they held the title of Sr. Director, Commercial Finance, Immunology and Oncology. Matt also spent time at NetScout Systems from January 2004 to December 2005 as the Director of Financial Planning Analysis. From January 2001 to December 2004, they were the Director of Finance at Excelergy. Matt has also been involved in finance since 1991.

Matt Emsley has a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Bentley University. Matt is certified as a Certified Management Accountant from the Institute of Management Accountants and as a Certified Public Accountant from the AICPA.
