Erin Carmichael

Erin Carmichael is an experienced professional in risk and quality management, currently serving as the Director of Risk & Quality Management at the Department of Vermont Health Access since November 2023. With a robust background in quality improvement and compliance, Erin has led multiple CMS Performance Improvement Projects and co-leads the DVHA Quality Committee. Earlier roles include Quality Improvement Administrator at the State of Vermont, Quality Assurance Manager at PACE VT, and Director of Risk and Quality Management at Planned Parenthood of Northern New England. Erin holds a BA in International Studies from Colby College and a Certified Public Manager certificate from the University of Vermont and State of Vermont.
