Gillian Morgan, MS, currently serves as the Deputy Division Director for Laboratory Sciences and Infectious Disease at the Vermont Department of Health, where responsibilities include leading public health communication and managing the COVID-19 Crisis and Emergency Risk Communication Team. With extensive experience in health communication, Gillian has also worked as an independent consultant, providing strategic planning and communications support for non-profit organizations. Previous roles include Senior Advocacy and Communications Associate with Global Health Corps and Program Manager for the Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS, where Gillian oversaw organizational activities and policy advocacy efforts. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from The New School and a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and History from the University of Vermont.
