Jared Ulmer is an experienced professional in urban planning and public health, currently serving as the Climate & Health Program Manager for the Vermont Department of Health since April 2015. Prior to this role, Jared worked as a Project Manager and Data Analyst at Urban Design 4 Health from April 2011 to March 2015 and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington from September 2008 to March 2011. Additional experience includes a position as a Built Environment & Land Use Research Assistant at King County Public Health and a Senior Transportation & Land Use Planner at Renaissance Planning Group. Jared also contributed to academia as a Lecturer in Transportation & Land Use Planning at the University of Virginia. Educational qualifications include a PhD Candidate status in Urban Planning and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Washington, alongside a Master of Urban Planning and a dual Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia.
