Environmental Health Engineer at Vermont Department of Health

Thomas DeBell is an experienced environmental health engineer currently working with the Vermont Department of Health since October 2021. Previously, Thomas served as a graduate research assistant at the NC State Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering from August 2019 to October 2021, focusing on innovative techniques for monitoring water and nutrient transport in stormwater systems. Prior roles include undergraduate researcher at NEWAg Lab, where Thomas contributed to the IPAQS experiment, and at Oregon State University's OPEnS Lab, engaging in electronics prototyping and remote sensing technology development. Thomas holds a Master of Science in Biological Engineering with a concentration in Water Resources from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Ecological Engineering and Chemistry, graduated Magna Cum Laude, from Oregon State University.
