William M. Moran has extensive experience in emergency services, currently serving as the Director of the Division of Emergency Preparedness, Response, and Injury Prevention at the Vermont Department of Health since December 2020, alongside the role of Emergency Medical Services Chief. Prior to this position, William held the title of Executive Director and Paramedic at Essex Rescue, Inc. from June 2017 to December 2020. William's career also includes roles as Senior Firefighter/Paramedic and Emergency Medical Services Coordinator at the South Burlington Fire Department from February 2004 to August 2017, and as a Paramedic with Huron Valley Ambulance from October 2015 to August 2016. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Emergency Medical Services from Creighton University, a Bachelor of Arts in Geography/Applied Design from the University of Vermont, and an Associate degree in Fire Science from New Hampshire Community Technical College.
