Sharon Bay

Sharon Bay, PMP has extensive work experience in project management and marketing roles. Sharon started their career at YWCA of Greater Portland in 2001, where they held the position of Director of Development until 2004. In 2005, they joined VEIC and began their journey in the marketing field as a Marketing Project Manager. Over the years, Sharon progressed to roles such as Senior Marketing Project Manager, Marketing Manager, and Customer Insights and Brand Performance Manager. More recently, they have transitioned into project management roles at VEIC, starting as a Senior Project Manager and eventually reaching the position of Manager, Project Management Office. As of November 2021, Sharon holds the role of Director, Project Management Office at VEIC. Sharon'sexperience and expertise make their a highly capable professional in the areas of project management, marketing, and brand performance.

Sharon Bay, PMP, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, obtained from the University of Vermont in the years 1989 to 1993. Sharon also holds a Master's Degree in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Additionally, Sharon has a Project Management Certificate from the University of Southern Maine. Furthermore, they have obtained several certifications including the Prosci® Methodology Application Program and the Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci. Sharon is also a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certified by the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in July 2007.
