Olivia Lavecchia

Olivia LaVecchia is a Community Development Underwriter at the Vermont Housing Finance Agency, with experience in housing policy and affordable housing finance gained through a Master of City Planning degree from UC Berkeley. Previous roles include Communications and Special Projects Coordinator in the Mayor's Office for the City of Burlington, where Olivia managed media strategy and organized public events, and Senior Researcher at the Institute for Local Self-Reliance, focusing on community revitalization and independent business advocacy. Additional experience includes a summer internship at Jonathan Rose Companies, graduate student reader, and staff writer for City Pages, where Olivia received several awards for journalism. Olivia holds a B.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University.
