Peter Hayes

Peter Hayes has over 25 years of work experience in various finance and information technology roles. Peter is currently the CTO at Vermont Information Processing, where they oversee information architecture and strategy, builds data science practices, leads innovation with cloud products and data services, and directs efforts to transform data governance. Prior to this, they worked at IBM for 17 years as the Director of Enterprise Business Analytics & Financial Systems, leading teams and formulating IBM's enterprise business analytics and cognitive strategy. Before that, they served as the VP of Finance & Financial Systems at Banknorth Group, Inc., where they managed financial planning, implemented financial systems, and oversaw Board of Directors financial reporting. Peter also has experience as a Financial Analyst at A.N. Deringer, Inc.

Peter Hayes attended the University of Vermont from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance.
