Dr. Konstantin Kernschmidt

Dr. Konstantin Kernschmidt is currently serving as the Leiter Forschung, Entwicklung & Digitalisierung at VERMOP GmbH, a position held since February 2022, with an affiliation to Freudenberg Home & Cleaning Solutions GmbH / Vileda Professional since July 2023. Prior to this, Dr. Kernschmidt led research and development efforts in Industry 4.0 at MicroStep Europa GmbH from May 2017 to January 2022. Additionally, Dr. Kernschmidt was Geschäftsführer at the Sonderforschungsbereich 768 from January 2015 to December 2016. Academic background includes a promotion in Maschinenbau (Dr.-Ing.) from the Technical University of Munich, and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Maschinenbau und Management from the same institution, complemented by studies at the University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2008-2009.
