Customer Success and Security at Verne Global

Styrmir Haflidason has extensive work experience in security and policy analysis. Styrmir started their career as a policy analyst at The Icelandic Defence Agency, where they contributed to rewriting bilateral contracts between Iceland and NATO member states. Styrmir then worked as a prison officer at the Icelandic Prison and Probation Administration, ensuring compliance with rules and assisting inmates. After that, they served as a security manager at Securitas, overseeing security officers in the Reykjanes area and mainly focusing on the Verne Global data center. Currently, Haflidason is working at Verne Global as a Customer Success and Security representative, managing security operations and customer interactions. Styrmir also previously held the role of Security & Quality Control Manager at Verne Global, responsible for security operations within the data center site.

Styrmir Haflidason holds a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Maryland College Park, which was earned from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government at the University of California, Santa Barbara, from 2006 to 2007. Styrmir first started their higher education journey at the University of Iceland, where they obtained another Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from 2004 to 2006.
