Matthew Denton

Senior Quality Assurance Engineer & Technical Support Specialist at Vernier Software & Technology

Matthew has been with Vernier since he was 15, working mainly in Programming, Quality Assurance, and Technical Support. He received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and, during college, assisted in testing the largest wireless network in existence at the time.

Matthew is a skilled glass artisan, and he raises chickens and bees at home. He established and helps to maintain Vernier’s beehive, which resides on the roof of the main building. Since his primary means of transportation is by bicycle, he uses an 8-foot bicycle trailer to move lumber, groceries, and other equipment, such as his kayak. Matthew assists in the organization of Vernier’s Bike Commute Challenge.
