Brianna Walker is an experienced librarian and technology specialist, currently serving as the Technology and Instruction Librarian at the Vernon Area Public Library District since October 2018. The Vernon Area Public Library District directly serves the 44,002 residents of a 29-square mile area that includes all or parts of Buffalo Grove, Lincolnshire, Long Grove, Vernon Hills, Prairie View, Riverwoods and unincorporated Ela and Vernon townships. In addition to access to books, movies and music, the library provides free classes and performances, free Wi-Fi and internet access, on-demand and downloadable music, movies, audiobooks, and e-books, and specialized research services.
