Alexander Castellano-Aviles

Alexander Castellano is an experienced quality and validation engineer with a robust background in the biotechnology and medical device industries. Currently serving as Principal Quality Engineer at VERO Biotech, Alexander leads validation and qualification activities to ensure regulatory compliance and product quality. Prior experience includes roles at Abbott as Principal Quality Assurance Engineer, overseeing the effectiveness of quality systems, and AstraZeneca as Senior Validation Engineer, where Alexander managed computer validation for manufacturing processes. Other notable positions held include Senior Validation Specialist roles at Alcon, Validation Process and Consulting, and Pharmaplan Flaval, with a strong focus on compliance and quality metrics across various manufacturing environments.
