Kimberly Cartus is a seasoned engineering professional with a diverse background in mechanical and systems engineering. Currently serving as Principal Systems Engineer at Vero Biotech since February 2019, Kimberly previously held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at Philips from June 2010 to February 2019, where responsibilities included product design, testing, and transition to manufacturing. Earlier experience includes research engineering at CryoLife, Inc., where significant contributions to heart valve testing efficiency and biomechanical evaluations were made, as well as a role as Trainer/Enrollment Manager at CrossFit North Atlanta. Kimberly's foundational skills were developed at Brookwood Animal Hospital, where proficiency in surgical procedures was gained, and during an undergraduate research assistantship at Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on medical product testing. Kimberly holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, completed in 2004.
