Julia Xistris

Julia Xistris is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and educational technology. Currently serving as an Educator at Verona Area School District since June 2021, Julia also holds the position of Launch Master Teacher with Project Lead The Way since August 2016, focusing on PreK-5 Launch programs. Prior roles include Fifth Grade PYP Classroom Teacher at D-PREP International School and K-5 Discovery (Tech/STEM) Teacher at the School District of Belleville, where additional responsibilities included summer school teaching for various classes and overseeing STEM summer programs at the National Inventors Hall of Fame. Julia's academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Marian University, a Bachelor of Science in Education and German from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Post Baccalaureate in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, along with international study at The University of Bonn.

The Verona Area School District is a public K-12 school district just outside of Madison, Wisconsin with approximately 5,600 students and 800+ staff.
