Vanessa Flores

As a Senior Program Officer, Sustainable Development Policy and Markets, Vanessa works on the implementation of Verra’s sustainable development programs, such as LandScale, the Climate, Community & Biodiversity (CCB) Standards, and the Sustainable Development Verified Impact Standard (SD VISta) Program. Vanessa provides support and guidance to program users and contributes to the uptake and evolution of Verra programs.

Prior to joining Verra, Vanessa worked at the National Audubon Society, where she provided financial, administrative, and logistical support to the International Program and their conservation initiatives in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Vanessa holds an M.S. in Ecological Economics from the Edinburgh University and a BA in International Relations from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
