Zainab Hassan

Zainab Hassan has extensive experience in environmental management, currently serving as a Contractor - Expert Reviewer at Verra since August 2025 and as a Roster of Expert - QA/QC at Gold Standard since December 2024. Previously, Zainab held positions as a Forestry Expert and Auditor at VVB since July 2018 and had multiple roles at Verra, including a Contractor - Expert Reviewer from March 2023 to January 2025. Additional experience includes consulting at IUCN and Earthood, and serving as a Technical Advisor at Emergent Ventures India. Zainab's academic background includes a Master's degree in Environment Management from FRI University, Dehradun, obtained between July 2008 and June 2010.
