Geoffrey Why is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in both public service and private practice. Currently serving as a Partner at Verrill Dana since November 2016, Geoffrey previously held the title of Partner at Mintz Levin from May 2014 to October 2016. Prior to that, Geoffrey was the Commissioner and General Counsel at the Department of Telecommunications and Cable from October 2007 to May 2014. From April 2001 to October 2007, Geoffrey worked as an Assistant Attorney General at the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General and served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office from September 1998 to April 2001. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School (1995-1998) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from Boston College (1984-1988), along with foundational education at Bellarmine College Preparatory (1980-1984).
