Gregory Fryer

Gregory Fryer serves as Senior Counsel and Partner at Verrill, where responsibilities include corporate and securities law, director duties, takeover defenses, and venture investing since June 1985. In addition, Gregory is a Board member at the Maine Venture Fund, with a focus on venture capital, following a gubernatorial appointment and previous service from 2007-2013. Between May 2016 and April 2022, Gregory held a gubernatorial appointment on the Board of Trustees at the Maine Maritime Academy. Membership in Maine Angels from November 2012 to December 2019 involved participation in a prominent accredited investor group. Prior legal experience includes positions at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP and Chadbourne & Parke LLP. Gregory holds a JD from Cornell Law School and an A.B. in Government from Dartmouth College.
