Julie Braverman Bruno serves as Counsel focused on Estate Planning and Family Law at Verrill since December 2022, specializing in sophisticated trust and estate planning alongside various probate and family court proceedings. Previously, Julie worked as an Estate Planning Attorney at Schmidt & Federico, where estate plans were crafted for high net worth clients, and complex tax planning devices were utilized. An extensive background in corporate tax planning was developed at Dewey Ballantine LLP from 1994 to 2005, involving intricate tax-driven transactions for Fortune 100 clients. Early in the career, Julie assisted U.S. Representative Dan Rostenkowski as a Legislative Assistant, managing legislation and communications on key issues. Julie holds a Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Rochester.
