Mike Hodgins

Mike Hodgins is a partner at Verrill since June 2025, with extensive experience in general civil litigation, particularly focusing on construction claims and commercial litigation in both State and Federal Courts. Prior to this role, Mike served as a shareholder and senior counsel at Eaton Peabody from February 2019 to June 2025 and held the position of shareholder at Bernstein Shur from July 2000 to January 2019. Earlier in Mike's career, Mike practiced as an attorney at Doyle & Nelson and Rudman & Winchell. Mike's expertise includes the defense of personal injury and property damage claims, as well as handling mechanic’s liens and various payment claims related to delays, additional work, and differing site conditions. Mike Hodgins earned a JD from the University of Maine School of Law and a BA in Government from Dartmouth College.
