Akshay Adhikari

Akshay Adhikari has a diverse work experience starting from 2002 to present. Akshay began their career at Avaya Labs Research as an intern, where they designed and implemented a device driver agnostic module for the Linux kernel. Akshay also contributed to the development of a network monitoring system. In 2007, they joined Cisco and served as a Software Engineer for four years before becoming a Technical Lead. In this role, they played a key part in driving the architecture and development of a WAN optimization product, with a focus on areas such as network IO, flow state management, and inter-process communication. Akshay also contributed significantly to the architecture definition and development of Appnav, a scalable and highly-available WAN optimization service. In 2014, Adhikari joined Versa Networks as a Software Engineer, where they are currently employed.

Akshay Adhikari has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, which was obtained between 1996 and 2000. Akshay also has a Master's degree in Computer Science/Computer Networking from North Carolina State University, which was completed from 2000 to 2002.
