Paras Kumar

Paras Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Paras'smost recent position is as a Regional Sales Director for Govt & Defense at Versa Networks starting from December 2022. Prior to that, Paras worked as a Sales Manager for State Government at VMware from October 2020 to December 2022. Before that, they were a Regional Sales Manager at Wipro Limited from September 2018 to October 2020. In this role, they were responsible for sales and account management, RFx management, cross-functional collaboration, and customer relationship and alliance management. Prior to Wipro Limited, Paras worked as a Senior Sales Consultant at Capgemini from June 2015 to August 2018, where they were part of the Sales Strategy unit for Application Services Continental Europe. Paras also had an internship at Capgemini in 2014. Paras started their career at EMC in 2010, where they worked as a Software Quality Engineer and had an internship as well.

Paras Kumar holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, which they completed from 2013 to 2015. Prior to their postgraduate studies, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Paras also holds a certification as an AWS Business Professional, which they acquired from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2020.
