Sujit Kumar Patra

Sujit Kumar Patra has a strong background in network engineering and technical support. Sujit Kumar started their career at Javi Systems India Pvt. Ltd. as a Network Engineer, where they worked on Ericsson's projects and handled network migrations and connectivity troubleshooting for various customers. Sujit Kumar then moved to Aircel as a Network Engineer, responsible for managing the Mobile Packet Backbone Network and monitoring the network using SNMP tools. Sujit then joined CSS Corp as a Network Engineer, where they specialized in Juniper Networks and worked as a TAC engineer, resolving firewall issues for customers. Sujit Kumar later joined Altran as a Network Specialist, focused on onboarding and providing post-sale support for Cisco Next Generation firewalls. Before their current role, Sujit worked at Fortinet as a Technical Support Engineer II, where they provided technical assistance to customers. Sujit Kumar is currently employed at Versa Networks as a Sr Engineer in Managed Services.

Sujit Kumar Patra obtained their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering from Dr. M G R Educational and Research Institute, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition, they have acquired several certifications in the field of network security. Sujit Kumar became a Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 4: Certified Professional in September 2020 and a Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 7: Certified Architect in December 2020. Sujit also holds certifications from Juniper Networks, including Juniper Networks Certified Associate - Junos (JNCIA-Junos) obtained in August 2017, Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Security (JNCIA-SEC) obtained in June 2019, and Juniper Networks Certified Specialist, Security (JNCIS-SEC) obtained in January 2018.
