Yilin Zhang

Yilin Zhang has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering roles. In 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Autowise.ai, where they designed and implemented RESTful APIs and co-developed an image processing software. In 2022, Yilin interned at Motive, where they integrated a Redis/cache cluster into an existing application using Golang and maintained Ruby applications. They also used Launch Darkly, Kubernetes, and Datadog to improve production SLAs. In the same year, Yilin interned at OANDA, where they designed and developed an application using Apache Kafka for real-time, low-latency data feeds. Finally, in 2023, Yilin joined Versa Networks as a Cloud Engineer.

Yilin Zhang pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo from 2019 to 2023.
